Activation of new scanning features in E-Release
DEPLOYMENT DATE : during the night of Sunday, March 8 to Monday, March 9, 2026.
GOOD TO KNOW
As of today, March 9, 2026, all targeted containers will be processed using the new scanning procedure, details of which can be found in the note available by clicking here.
However, older scanning cases initiated via the “Consult Customs Declarations” module remain subject to the old procedure and are not affected by the new restrictions.
For the containers concerned, a new dedicated action button (EN) Verify scanning / (FR) Vérifier scanning has been added to the “Handling Units” tab in the Transport Documents consultation form in E-Release.
This button is only activated for container-type handling units. It allows you to check the scanning/inspection status for each container.
Depending on the status returned, the system displays a corresponding icon (green or red).
